ATC Swap Time!

Well went to the yard today to grab everything. Totally dismantled a 03 (likely sold as an 04) 300M. Removed the Dash, followed by the harness. Grabbed the blower resistor, which was a HUGE PITA to get to, thank god I had a flex bit or else I'd be out of luck. In addition, I grabbed the harness which connect to the white connector and feeds to the blower and resistor (assuming this is the "lower harness"). Also snagged three ATC head units. Hoping all three work, may even have some desired models, which I'll likely throw up for others to snag if needed, as I won't need three.:P

Figured I'd post some pictures of everything and a few as I go along, may help out others down the road.

Have to add, I got an extra surprise. This 300M was fitted with a UltraStart 1355-XR system. Antenna,remove, wiring, boxes and even the transponder that "spoofs" the ignition skim was all there, literally the whole system. It's all wired up, and appears professional done. I took the time to search up the manual and ensure everything was wired correctly.

The deal got sweeter it seems. Pictures coming!

While on the subject,I also snagged an Infinity amp. My stereo is base, and I've replaced the four main speakers with aftermarkets. But I've also added Infinity speakers to the rear 300M door panels, sail speakers and the dash speaker. Everything is wired up, and all the wires currently feed behind the stereo head unit. Was curious if I can patch power and the infinity speakers to the amp and then cleverly get some audio from the head unit into the amp. I'm aware of the Independence differences, frankly not to concerned with harming the amps, as I can replace them for nothing if they were to fail after a year or two.

Ugh it was freaking retarded! No assortment of ratchet sizes, amount of extensions, short or deep socket combinations would work. I started contemplating taking the whole blower out, or KICKING it out. Then I got creative and started trying to twist the bolts out by hand, then realized I was smart enough to bring a flex bit... If only I did that an hour prior to everything else.
