Aftermarket Head/Tail Lights

Headlights I don't seem to have a problem finding, my question about those is, installing projector lights, how hard is that?

Taillights, on the other hand, are near impossible to find that are non-OEM. Any suggestions on where I'd find them?

No one makes intrepid tails .. we have to customize them ourselves.
As for headlights.. I personally have not installed any, but plenty of members on here have, I'm sure with their input it will be w piece of cake.

I didn't install projectors....well, not yet....some are coming soon from another member....I DID however install a 9600K HID kit with ballasts and bulbs into my headlights and fogs. It wasn't hard at all if u read the instructions and take a little time. There is an excellent video on ebay for the projectors that you can watch which details what tools and electrical connectors you'll need.
As far as tail lights, there aren't any aftermaket that I could ever find. The trep just wasn't made to be modded...lol....I used black tint in automotive clear and sprayed mine and third light bar...looks excellent and can be waxed!!

That legal in PA? Cops always tell me that it's illegal if it's unable to be seen, obviously the step there would be to make it visible, correct? You'll have to give me more info. I'm not car savvy

not sure on PA laws but here in Indiana we definitely have picky cops. I used a small amount of black tint base for painting cars. I put a few drops in automotive clear and sprayed light coat after light coat until they looked clear. We had a light by 3M called the "sun-gun" for looking at paint and its basically mega bright so I used that behind the tail lights to make sure of how much visibility remained after each coat. At night you can see them almost like normal but during the day they definitely look pretty dark!
As for the headlights, yes, its legal here in IN...just keep them adjusted so you aren't brighting peoples faces and you're golden...

Hi guys, sitting here in Frankfurt, Germany, looking at the diff ones offered at Ebay.com.
Cant really tell if they are are configured the same, just different color, black, piano black, schrome, etc.
For example: *PIANO BLK SMOKE LENS* 98-04 DODGE INTREPID HALO GLOSSY PROJECTOR LED HEADLIGHTS"
Sold from California, feels kinda ridiculous to order them from Germany :p.
Basically just looking for new ones with halo, that are European "legal", which means, the parking light shall be white and separated from the blinkers (which shall be yellow)

Any suggestions or advice is appreciated,

'Boom

Take your lens and do them yourself. It's easier then you think and can be day in less then a day for less then $50.

Here is a very nice thread on how to do it, but on a tacoma. Same difference in the end. Just take them off and follow this thread.
