most mods are more personal taste but you can get a lot of ideas from looking around the board

now if you want performance mods the quickest, easiest ones are cold air/ ram air intake, intake spacer, autostick/puttstick, then onto things like shift kits and 2.7 gears from some more kick

CAI doesn't really add much on these cars, he has an SE so no intake spacer and obviously no 2.7 gears. Autostick is fun though!

you shouldnt see too much trouble with those mods. My favorite mods for the interior of the car are auto climate control, auto headlights, 300m heated leather, I see you're in Florida, so not so big a deal there lol.

IMO I would put some of the mods on the backburner and make sure that the timing chain and waterpump are attended to. Once you do those, youre golden. But when it comes to 2.7 performance, youre best bet is going to be swapping out to a 3.5. I've done about as much to my 2.7 minus hard core motor stuff and its pulling even with a 3.2. I think one mod that is phenominal is Autostick. It really livens the little motor up. Check out some of our sig threads to get some more ideas. Good luck!

Depending on if you have ABS or not or if the Special came with side air bags, you're going to have a few lights that need to be deactivated through a DRBIII. But other than that, its plug and play.

If you've got an SE with the 2.7 you don't have Autostick. All 300Ms including the Special have Autostick so the Special cluster in your car won't work right unless you install Autostick. That's in addition to the other potential issues Will mentioned above.

If you're not going to install Autostick your best bet for a cluster would be one from a Concorde or LHS if you're looking for a look different than the Intrepid cluster. If you want the white faced guages with the EL illumination like a 300 look for a Concorde Limited cluster. Looks the same as a standard 300m cluster but no Autostick. I've got a couple of the Concorde Black Face/Chrome trim rings available for sale in this thread:

https://www.dodgeintrepid.net/showthread.php?t=237572

Those don't have Autostick either and will most likely work in your car without modifications.

I installed the cluster and since I don't have ABS the light is on and the brake light is on as well even tho the e-brake is off. Do you have any idea whats up with the e-break light on???
