Need help with seats

Hey everyone.. I went to the junkyard today and got a full set of leather heated/memory seats. But I need some help hooking them up... I'm not to concerned if the memory part doesn't work but the heated part would be nice... If someone could point me to the right thread or explain on here that would be awesome... Thanks

Hello and just have to say you will love them.... there are a lot of threads on here but the most recent one is

https://www.dodgeintrepid.net/showthread.php?t=237254

if you scroll down you will see links to other threads but keep scrolling until you see my post, I attached pin out information diagrams that you can take a look at..

but the wireing is easy..

here you go,

splice the wires with #16 wire from passanger seat to driver you need to remove your console. it's mostly screws but an allen holds the shifter knob.
ReD/TaN
TaN/Dark Blue
Dark Blue/WHite
VioleT/Light Green
VioleT/BlackK
TaN/Light Green
BlacK/Light Green
now that these are spliced you need to connect the wires for heat and power.

Wires for the heat are
violet/yellow-----comunication wire to BCM connector blue connector C4 cavity 9
dark blue/white-----10A fused from junction block white connector cavity 7

Most of the wiring is done from the driver seat to the passenger seat. Only two wires get connected to bcm & fuse block. I can post a fsm image if you need it.

Hey Guys, I'm soon attempting the same thing and after looking over the threads think I got it... couple questions though, I pulled the harness, (well hacked to death the harness is more accurate!), and seem to have an extra blue/white wire on the passenger side. I'm 98% positive it ran up towards the passenger door, NOT to the drivers side seat. Do I just ignore that wire, or hook it up to the same fused ignition point as the drivers side one?

A picture is worth 1000 words:

Also I am doing an EVIC install and am wondering if its possible to tap into the same wires for the EVIC connector in the fuse panel, yellow/violet Bus wire and blue/white fused ignition output wire. (credit for this idea goes to LBIS4123 way back in 2004). Just thinking it'll be easier working in the fuse panel rather than under the dash, and I'm putting wires in there anyway.

Thanks!

DJ, you'll need to have a harness made up for that EVIC... I think I got a connector here I can throw in the box for you, so you can fabricate a harness worst case.

The connector is on the BCM for the EVIC. Remove the side panel on the drivers side dash and you'll see it staring at you. Wires run up drivers side A-pillar.

The factory harness is a bitch to extract. As the wires are glued to the fiberglass and feed all across the entire headliner for all the courtesy lights, moonroof, visors, pending on options. It's do-able, but a bitch.

I found it easier originally to just get the connector, cut the current wires for the courtesy lights, patch them into the new connector, and then use some new wire to run lengths to the EVIC. Did the trick. But I ended up scrapping my harness to feed power to new 300M visors, etc, now it's just a larger mess...lol!

Thanks guys, srt6intrepid, that is what I was going to do, just splice the current wires into the new connector (Which I of course forgot to grab so if you happen to have one thanks! Btw I have a sunroof if that matters) and run some new wires down... Dont want to mess with the headliner harness at all.

Wishihadacharger, Ive read a bunch of old threads and am pretty sure I get the gist of it... What Im really hoping is I can just connect the yellow/violet and blue/white from the evic AND seats to the same wires in the headliner harnes plug for simplicity's sake, (they serve the same purpose so should be fine afaik). Oh and that extra blue/white on the pass seat connector was never mentioned in any threads either, so no idea on that one.

k Dj...

violet/yellow-----comunication wire to BCM connector blue connector C4 cavity 9 (your evic will tap into this one also)

dark blue/white-----10A fused from junction block white connector cavity 7 (tap this one from the passenger side into the same wire from the driver side then to fuse.)
