Alarm system encompassing an Auto Start Capability

Fellow Intrepid owners,
Have any of you heard of, or better yet, installed a auto theft system that encompasses, door locks, trunk opening, and auto start capability. If so, and if possible, please provide me with as much info as possible to that I can try to track it down either here in Germany or on the internet.

Sorry, can't help, my remote starter was added on top of the factory system. My doors and trunk are on one factory remote and my starter is on a seperate remote.

I had an Avital AviStart 6000 on my 98 ES. I liked it a lot, and it had a quarter mile range. However, I do not believe they make that particular model anymore, you can always check:

I had a Sidewinder 6500ESP installed in my Intrepid. Once you have one you will swear by it. In the winter your car is nice and toasty and in the summer no more oven. Not to mention the pure entertainment value of it.

I tried twice last year to buy the wife a remote starter (Xmas + birthday) and she would have nothing to do with it, now that I have one on the Trep however she instantly wants one, can't even wait till Xmas.

I guess I'll have to buy her one since she leaves for work before me and I am not looking forward to spending another winter starting her car every morning.

The starters are great, I can easily reach mine while sitting at the kitchen table finishing my morning coffee.

I just had a Viper alarm system installed on my Intrepid and it included the remote car start function. I can't wait to see how convenient it is on a really cold day...especially with leather seats.

I'm running with the Viper 550 ESP. I have it doing the locks, pop trunk, and remote start. I even wired the remote start up to the rear defroster so when I remote start in the winter it kicks off the rear defroster and clears the back window. I also like the range of the ESP, it has a plastic antenna you need to mount in the interior. I hide mine behind the rearview mirror.
