I found the source of my noisy trep. The grab handle in the back. I pulled it out, their is a set of 3 wires, I zip tied em but noticed theirs a metal plate as some heat shrink tubing which rubs on the metal plate causing the noise. What can I use to cover the heat shrink tubing?

Normally your door make a rubber to metal seal, would sound deadening be improved if another rubber seal (what I don't know) to make a rubber to rubber to further deaden the noise? Yes I get alot of wind noise along the windshield pillars.

Cloth or gauze type tape is very useful to quiet down rattling noises. When I restored my 68 Couger it had some annoying rattles that I fixed that way. Good luck.
