2nd gen spoiler

Has anyone got this type of spoiler? does it add or take away from the performance of the car? Also what was the cost of the install and paint. I'm thinking about getting one put on my car........

this type of spoiler will not add to or take away from the performance of your car, it is a cosmetic mod

I have that spoiler. If I remember correctly, it cost about $200 for paint and install from a local body shop.

I have one on my R/T it cost $89.00 and about $100.00 to paint. I installed it my self about and 1 hour job. If you get over 120mph it well help a little bit with down force. It has more of a curve than the stock one`s do.

I personaly do not think that it will help with downforce, the only downforce it will offer is with the extra weight of the wing on the trunk lid.

That's a good price! I wish I could have got it done that cheap!

Personally, I don't think this model will help at all at any speed. It's purely cosmetic. However, only the R/T is able to get over 120 anyways, so his SE and my ES will never find out :(

What do you mean it has "more of a curve than the stock one"???? The stock one has no curve at all!!! ;)

Well, I'm getting it done at the same body shop that my job takes there wreck testing cars to..... and since I'm the one that always take the cars over to them to get fixed, They had no problems doing it that cheap. I had a 3" scratch on my car 3 months ago, and I told them about it and they said bring it over one afternoon and well fix that for you (Free)!!!!!!
