no orange plastic on tailights?

OK, most people talk about clear corners on thier front turn signals but what about the rears. Can the strips of orange on the tail lights be removed and just have an orange bulb for the turn signal?

I personly like the front lights the way they are but I really like the look of the new 2g Stratus Coupe's rear tail lights.

Having owned one, and the tail lights being based off the Intrepid style, I wanted to take the orange out of the rear and make it match the clear backup lights....unless there was a way to switch the whole assembly from the new Stratus?

I don't believe there is a way because on the Stratus I think they wrap around the rear of the car a bit further. Any thoughts?

I also want to have white strips, but I think that it is an orange piece that is in there, so we are shit out of luck.. I want it white so I can put blue bulbs in to match the front.
