Question Bored throttle bodies anyone?

Hello everyone, its that time again, I have access to getting bored throttle bodies.

Any year can be done and I am holding at 71MM the stock is 68MM.

I am having 5 made up, two 99-01 and three 02-04.

Price is $160 shipped plus $40 core which is returned when I receive your stock TB back.

I am putting up all the cash to have these made, no group buy neccassary.

If you are interested please post here. I need a little interest before I place the order.

Yes, this with an intake spacer / cold air intake really makes a difference!

Maxbore will do it for $99 shipped back to you and there's another member here who is looking to do them in 72-73mm.

From the last page of DodgeBob68's " Another 4.0 stroker is born!" thread:

Machine shop claims 74 mm but I don't know, haven't miked it yet to check their accuracy

Single butterfly TB over bore work is 99 bucks which includes return shipping. He bores to the largest possible size then custom cuts and blends the bronze buttterfly. They are not off the shelf pieces. The man is good."

Yeah but most people don't have 2 weeks to wait without a throttle body on their car that's what helps with the core

Hmmmm......might be interested in one of the 98-01s for the R/T. What time frame are you looking at to have a decision made? A couple of weeks? A couple of days? Probably wouldn't be able to swing this on my end until middle or late next month.

Just about anytime really. Id like one myself. They are going to bore one to the max and see where it comes out. Im sacrificing a couple throttle bodies just to see.

I also have a lead on some performance injectors.

How much power does this add? Is there a way to do a swap to a bigger throttle body from another vehicle? Probably not or you guys would have caught it already.

I've had the 70mm TB on for years. The bored TB with a CAI gives you noticeable throttle response. More air = more power!

I found a thread on here where another member bored out his TB for the 2.7 from 62 to 68. Spad any chance you can get one of these?
