Exterior?

Hi Everybody,
I have a 2002 Dodge Intrepid SE, I wanted to add a body kit and a new exhaust system, and some new parts,Just like the one in my profile picture, (I found that pic online) first to look sporty overall and to have a better performance rating also. I've looked all over and everything seems really pricey, so is there a place I should go, or a website that has great deals?? It would be helpful! Thanks Guys
James

Body kits done well will cost $1000s, most likely will need a nearly full repaint of the car, plus tons of labor, or it will look like all those half assed primered honda civics driving around. Don't be that guy. There's lots of good exhaust threads on here, search around, putting in an exhaust from a 300m Special from a salvage yard would probably be the cheapest bang for the buck.

As for your 2.7L, there's not much helping it. If you're serious about making the car go faster, save the money from the body kit and put a 3.5L in it.

Welcome to the forum!

I currently own the body kit in your pic and have only plans to use the front bumper... I could probably be talked out of it.. shipping might be a pain. Pm me your # and I'll text you if you're interested.

Lots of kits around to buy. But as said, they require a lot of work to look right, regardless of brand or car or kit. Done a few myself to know, it's brutal work. Paint is another story lol. Polyurethane bumpers are the best bet as they require little to no body work compared to fiberglass. But they cost a lot more.

Exhaust is easy, many around, kits wise, and you can make your own. Check out Youtube.

As far as performance, 3.5 is the way.

My advice is become good with a wrench, wiring, plumbing and body work like I have and befriend a body man. Saves you crap loads on your expenses~!!
