Thumbs down Gabriel Ready mount struts installed (pics)

So after going through four sets Monroe Quickmount struts in my 99 300M, I decided to try a different route for the 02. I usually don't get parts from autozone, however I got these new for $200 with a lifetime warranty. I have not seen a lot on these, turns out the mounts are made by the same people who make the monroe mounts . So I guess I will see how long these last. I did notice the mounts are tapered the same way as the Stock ones so there is definitely a left and a right.

On to pics

So I guess the clock starts now??

interesting, I think Carquest offers the Gabriel's as their standard quick strut so I really want to see how they turn out.

Now that I look at them on my computer, is it just me or does the left strut (in picture) mount lean towards the same side as the one next to it?

I was paying close attention to that. It looks that way in the pics but in person on flat ground there was different, opposite tapers. They seem to fit better than the Monroe as well.

I guess ill just ride them out. Getting an alignment Monday, followed by wheels and tires. So should be able to get a good test in.
