Question Pin stripes...

I know alot of you HATE pin stripes on the cars...but with my concept, I am thinking of a mirrored gold pin stripe along the body with a few "extras" added on with it. How do you think gold pin stripes would look on my car? I am thinking stripes along the upper edge like other cars that have the stripes, with a gold or black dodge ram head (logo) at the front on the upper portion of the fender...and my "Special Edition" on the back quarter panel...or no ram head and my special edition on the front fender.

I am also thinkg of the mirrored gold inside the line that goes around the car...the front door rear door and the bumper. Is that a tad too much, or would it suit it somewhat? I do not want to go overboard as I want it to be tasteful but yet sweet looking. Suggestions please. Let me find a picture and kinda draw in what I mean....be right back.

Do not take this the wrong way Dale but I hope that it looks better then it sounds.

I know it's a unique idea and a lot of work, but I highly doubt it will look better than non-striped! Won't know until you try though!

Should look good. I ran 2 lines on mine along the top of the door handles from nose to tail. The one thing about the tape strips. If you don't like it, you can just take it off.

I say go for it! Pinstripes are "in". Most people just don't know it yet. That makes them even more "in"! You are ahead of the curve, whatever that means?

just to throw something out here, i am not sure if you getting it done in paint or tape, but, if your going to do it in tape, you can remove it rather easy if its fresh. If you dont like it, just peel it back off, you might have $20 invested.

I think something like the stripes seen on these cars would look pretty cool too.

I don't know...I saw a sec gen here in town with the chrome rocker panel decal stuff on it...looked like ass. To overkill in my book. I want to be discrete about it. I am thinking it is a no on the line around the lower body...but the stripe on the upper part might be okay.
