so you got ur seats in well your going to have to get some custom ones made that was a major reason why i didnt go with racing seats was the bolt pattern

if you look on ebay, you might find some brackets. I know that the seats i looked at on Ebay came with brackets. also, im sure some other type of dodge vehicle seats will work also, maybe look for a bracket for them too.

I beleive a member said at one time that any seats chrysler makes all have the same bolt pattern. Or at least the majority of them do.

So if you find a set of viper seats I beleive they have the same pattern and do bolt right in.

Sorry Gorm, Viper seats do not bolt right in. In my 1st gen i was able to use 1 of the stock bolt locations, the front outside bolt. The other 3 had to be altered. The Viper seats (and most other racing seats i imagine) aren't as wide as the stock seats and are much deeper. I moved the other stock front mount in to match the Viper seat mount and then just drilled and spaced the rears. Worked out b/c i was able to cover up the bolts with the rear floor mats. I didn't even try to mess with changing over the brackets. I did have to switch the seatbelt latches though, the Viper ones didn't match up with the Intrepid.
Oh, and Vegas, i just got your IM b/c i lost internet. Sorry i didn't get back to you sooner with some help.
And of course, they will be going in the new '02....soon. I'll make sure to take some pics.

Huh...good thing I never said either way if they did or not.

Although i do find it curious. The SRT4 has viper seats. It has been known that 300m buckets bolt into the Neon...So the SRT4 seats must have special brackets.

The SRT-4 seats are Viper-like but not the same. My mom had an SRT-4 and the seats in hers were scaled down to fit the smaller car. Certainly not made by Recaro and not as high a quality. Still nice seats compared to stock though. You need something to keep you in the seat the way those cars handle.

So do the seats you got have no bracketry at all? One of those buy-them-seperately deals? You should be able to find a shop that will either make you some brackets or be able to weld your stock ones to the bottoms of the new seats.
