Hood Scoop

Hello again, I hope all is well with everyone!

Now I am looking for a nice hood scoop for my Trep. I have seen many different styles, but I am looking for suggestions as I want this to look good. Do I need to drill holes in the hood or can I avoid this?

Also, if anyone has any pics for examples, would love to see em'.

Thanks to everyone on this site, I am learning more every day!!

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!!

James

Smile Nice Scoop!

Wow! Now that's what I'm talking about! Where did you get it? I already have a place lined up for match painting. (If it doesn't already come pre-painted)

Thanks!

The scoops pictured are Lund style and are stick on installation therefore they just need to be painted, stuck and done

Do a search for Lund scoops on the internet and you will find tons of merchants with them

Hey Joe,

Did you or anyone ever add a functional scoop that worked in conjunction with one of your custom K&N air intakes or something similar? I imagine that there must be a way to baffle the intake to prevent water, snow, birds and small kids from being ingested into the intake but other cars over the years have managed to do it, even factory jobs (i.e., old Mustang with "shaker hood"), old muscle car Plymmouths and Dodges, "ram air" GM's etc.

A working hood scoop with a cold air intake system would be awesome.
