New Exhaust setup!

I got my exhaust system installed today. I was going to go with dual flowmaster 80s but the muffler shop I went to told me it would be better to go with a flowmaster 40 delta with a dual outlet. The guy left the center resenator on because he didn't have a y pipe on hand. After he installed it and lowered it he got me into the car and rev it a few times. It sounded like one of the newer chargers with straight pipes. When driving up to speed it sounds bad ass, after I have gotten up to speed it's quite because that center resenator keeps the high eage sound out. I'll record a sound clip tomorrow and post it.

I'll try and get some pics of the setup. Just have to get a friend of mine to loan me a digital camera.

Why does the sound change later? The Flowmaster is solid right? What i mean is there is no material other then metal in the flowmaster so why would the sound change later? Ive heard this many times and im curious as to the reason it would change...

The guts in the muffler are thin metal and warp after a while. Thats all I can think about that one.

All I need now is some decent headers and a few extra engine mods and the car is finished.

I read that flowmasters were one of the worst mufflers, in terms of actual 'flow.' Pretty sure that I found the link somewhere on this site.
