Trans-Go Shift Kit, need owner advice!

Hi all, I'm gonna need some of our shift kit owners to give some advice here (most are 1st gen though, hope they'll see this).

I'm interested in the Transgo shift kit, since I'll be doing my fluid flush pretty soon, thought that I'll just unbolt the valve body and put the kit on. In addition to firmer and faster shifts, I'm hoping that the higher line pressures will make the clutch packs hold tigher. Here's my main concern though:

I want tire chirping shifts at full throttle, but NOT when I'm just cruising. Shift kit owners, how does your car shift when you're just using light throttle and shifting @ 2500 rpm? Does it "snap" into gear no matter what?
I read some of the posts by ACR, in which he complained about the driveability of the shift kit, and therefore didn't install one on his lattest transmission (I'm sure he goes through those like bags of chips...)

Any comments on this is appreciated!
