Corner Lights

I have a 01' R/T but this question is relative to all second gens. Has anyone ever tried replacing the corner lights to like red or blue or whatever. I've done it on alot of cars before, but usually you can get to the bulbs with a simple twist out of the back of headlights when you pop the hood. I didn't take too long of a look at it, but it appears you'll have to do some pretty big mods like remove the entire headlight or the air filter atleast on the one side. Anyone try? Any tips?

Thanks,
dankfresh

see the 2 screws on each corner of the headlight...they are found on the top...
remove those 2,then slide the whole head light out... and there you go now you can get to the bulbs...

nice car, thanks for the tip and the condescending tone. I just want to replace the bulbs red so i'm sure leaving the amber reflector on there will come out ok. How is the ride of the car dropped? Just aftermarket springs and struts?

Yeah, i had blue 194's in my 1st gen in the rear...all it did was give the cops a reason to stop me. Right now i'm running hyper white 3157's for my front park/turn signal lights. That's about as close to any color as i'm going to get.

I'll have pics soon. The car that I dropped before I kept the stocks struts on with a compressed spring and it used to bottom out constantly on the jounce bumper. Other than that, I loved how it rode and turned. I just bought my Intrepid, so the options on what I'm gonna do are wide open. Thanks for the tip again.

Just like my clear tail how-to thread, it's hard for some to know how well they're doing without visual.
