Headligts

So I have an extra pair of headlights that I have been waiting to go to work on. I put the hazy spare set on the car and one of the others is virtually perfect, and the other hazy but not bad. I intend to do my absolute best to clean them up, but am mostly looking for how to maintain their condition. Will just clearcoating them with a few layers protect them from getting hazy?

Polish and wax, clearcoat will just ruin everything. You should rewax them every month or so.

There has got to be a better way to keep them from hazing.

Clean them with this. Awesome stuff. Also, you've never seen your plastic parts this clean.
I got it for my tint, and to protect my head lights, and tail lights.

I don't use the headlight covers anymore, they were fun for a little while but not practical at all and I like the look better without them. If I can clean up the headlights well enough I'll paint them black on the inside instead.
