Do Kenne Bell, don't do jet chip. I think you'll find most people will agree.

I agree. I believe the KB OPT II is the best way to go. I'm not sure what the gains are for the 3.2 but they show the 3.5 gained 10 hp and 10 lbft at the wheels. The biggest advantages besides the power increase are removed torque management, firmer/shorter shift points, lowered temp and t-stat mapping, and raised/eliminated speed limiter. Most people just look at the power increase but not the other factors and come to the conclusion that it is not worth $350 for an extra 10 hp. I believe that once all aspects are taken in account, the KB Opt II is an excellent value. It is almost transparent under normal driving conditions but once you open her up, it really reveals itself. It will change the overall personality of your car under WOT. Just be sure to get a 160* t-stat from shadowvox6 otherwise you will end up replacing your cooling fans in short order.

From what I have read and heard about Jet Chips from other LH owners is that they are crap. Some people claim that they actually LOST power! They may work well with some cars, just not ours!

Ok Cool , thank you very much for the detailed information blurred10 and I really like your mod's I guess with all of them , you must see a change! My battery is death and I'm thinking to buy an Optima Red Top with an ASP Underdrive Pulley. Like you say it , maybe I can gain less than 10HP and 10 lbft at the wheels bcz I have a 3.2L , but it's the same bay engine (3.5L for sure , more powerful). By any chance blurred10 , and If it don't bother you , do you know the part#/code# for the Optima battery ? And the belt# and brand that I need when I change the underdrive pulley ?

Thanks a lot for your time ,
Rob

Hey I might have the belts you need for underdrive. I got mine done somewhere and they did something where they did not wind the belts properly, so they used their own belts that were longer. I have the belts that are supposed to be used left over (somewhere I think...)

Thanks Rob, I'm not sure about the part numbers. It's been a while. Just run a search--there are many topics for the Optima red top.

As far as the underdrive pulley, call ASPracing.com and they should give you the neccesary part numbers for the belts. They refer to Gates belts.
