Has anyone tried this with a CAI mod?

Just doing some EBay shopping and found these bad boys:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dodge...72624492QQrdZ1

I haven't seen anyone use them yet, just wondering.

One another note, didn't want to start a new thread, where is everyone getting these glow in the dark decals for around the heater knobs with DI.net written on them?

I feared that. I was hoping it'd go right through, could you? Or is there a plastic backing on it?

Even if you had something similar that could be used for intake vents, it wouldn't really work. Sure you could suck in air, but they are on the side of the car and would get no ram air effect at all so its really pointless.

The "real ones" are heat extractors. They are in a low pressure area and would be conterproductive to an intake setup. Real ones may has some purpose if you could use them to vent underhood heat. Not really nessesary in these cars.

Those are stick on's. Kind of like fake tattoo's for cars!

And they look stupid (IMO). Well, unless you want your car to look like a Buick!

Cheers

I think they are cool, but I'd be worried they'd fall off over a bump or something considering they just have "3m tape" to hold them on.

I like the look of the round ones... and on the buicks they look great. They look 'regal' so to speak..
