Some drivetrain questions

Haven't really asked much questions on here but, noticed that some people are getting that performance tranny. Can't remember the name. Since I haven't seen any other parts, would that mean that they can handle they higher horsepower and torque. Like the cv axles and such or have they been custom made?

If there's a such thing as a performance tranny for our cars, I'd buy one, probably along with 1/2 the members here :p

Sadly, theres no hi perf. tranny available for our cars. I'm sure there are rebuild kits available, but to my knowledge, not a whole new tranny.

If there was a performance tranny, people wouldn't be using the 3.89s so much.

That would be the PowerDemon A606 transmission. Unfortunately I discovered last year that PowerDemon went out of business with no intention to reopen. They had 3 versions Race, Street/Strip, and Street. Some member here are upgrading torque converters and kevlar clutch bands and stuff. Even adding the phantom grip limited slip diff units. Google also showed me some shift kits for the A606.

So now you'll have to search and gather parts and "Demonize" your own tranny

Thats it. Damn i heard they went out of business but didn't know you couldn't get them anywhere else. Just noticed they made a tranny but no cv axles or other drivertrain components and wondered if that was the only weak part. Thanks.
