from 8N-6 of the 02LHEA.pdf

REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY
MODULE
REMOVAL
The Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) Module is
located between the junction block and body control
module. Refer to Electrical, Electronic Control Modules,
Body Control Module, Removal.
(1) Disconnect and isolate the battery negative
cable.
(2) With the junction block/BCM removed, separate
the two by removing the four retaining screws.
(3) Unsnap the RKE module from the BCM.
INSTALLATION
(1) Place module into position on BCM and snap
the RKE Module into place.
(2) Attach the junction block/BCM and install the
four retaining screws.
(3) Connect battery negative cable.
Install the BCM. Refer to Electrical, Electronic
Control Modules, Body Control Module, Installation.
NOTE: The RKE transmitters must be reprogrammed
to the new RKE module.

Also might want to follow the following from a post by YB Normyl

I haven't read the manual but, first you take out the two philips screw at the left I-P end for the plastic knee bolster and pull the right side out and slightly up. Then you remove the 4 #10 bolts holding the black metal support bracket, the diagnostic connector and wires will be attached to it so it's easier if you remove the connector from the bracket by pushing in the tabs at the sides of the connector. 1 philips screw at the left side of the lower air duct, then pop it out. The upper round air duct might be in the way of removing the screws that hold the BCM in place so you might want to remove it, just twist and pop out one side at a time. 4 philips screw hold the BCM in place but to pull out the BCM you'll need to disconnect the 4 connectors on it. Newer style remote modules only fasten with clips but the older style were screwed in. Have a good light source under there because the top screws of the BCM may be hidden behind a thick wire harness.
