Fog Light Location

I just purchased some after market fog lights for my intrepid. But know comes the fun part, where should i put them? Should i but them on the ends of the bumper or more towards the center towards where the front license plate is?

Most members put them between the plates......keith (kcarlos2000) has a good example in his sig pic of where to put them.

But of course it's whatever you want to do. EDIT: Are they round or square? If they were round I would put them towards the edges, kind of like in an ES bumper. But that's just me.

they are square with rounded edges. Later i might take a pic of them. They almost look like the ones on his car

The Fog lights that i got.

Also when i was looking at the lighting section at the auto parts store i saw neon lights. This made me start to think (which is not always a good thing) how would it look if i put blue neons behind the front bumper that the whole front bumper would light up blue in the night. I think that would look pretty cool. What do you guys think?

Well as far as neons go.......I would make sure they're legal where you are at before even purchasing them. And if you do go neon......it would probably be better to do the entire car and not just the front. Of course this is all just my opinion.

would it be better to mount the fogs on the top holes of the fascia? or the bottom holes? where would you get more ground visabilty?

You might want to pm keith about that. I have a pair of foglights similiar to his but he said he would not recommend putting them where he puts his. So, between his word and me getting underneath the car and realizing that whatever I did to mount them would be a compromise I decided that I would just get an ES bumper.

Well last night on a midnight run to the store for a notebook and stuff for school, I saw an F-150 with neons mounted behind the grill like i wanted to do on jeffrey. I thought it looked really dumb so i changed my mind on that idea. But I am still going to put the fog lights on. I think i am going to mount them on the bottom of the fascia.

First off, blue is poser material.
Secondly those are driving lights, if you can see the filament-then use like high beams.

Yeah I would not install them like I did it was not hard just a pain the ass and then if you decide you no longer want them there would be holes in your bumper. I said go to ebay and buy a ES bumper and go with the factory setup. Just my .02

I am sure that sexymed is happier with his stock setup more then he would have been with the setup that I currently have.

i was just on ebay looking at car stereos, I saw some OEM chrysler stereos with the cd/cassette/stereo with the RDS on them. I was just thinking instead of getting an after market stereo, that I might just get one these. It wouldn't be anytime too soon because of money issues(as stated in previous posts). But i think one of these would look better than an aftermarket system. The only thing i really want to do is replace all the factory speakers because of the crackling sounds in deep bassy songs. I also plan on installing the lights I got tommorrow after i wash jeffrey, i was thinking though about what Keith said about the screw holes in the bumper and was wondering if sticky tape might work better.
