There aren't really any other "mods" I'd like to do to my car and I think it looks pretty good
I love my spoiler, not only because it looks streamline and cooler than the factory spoiler...it serves as viewpoint for the end of my car. The trunk of my older car was easy to see, but everything looks like it ends at the back window in the Intrepid. Since I've had it, it's been MUCH easier knowing where the back is with respect to the area when I'm in reverse!
I just wish this wasn't the only vehicle in existance (it sure feels like it anyway) that DIDN'T have aftermarket tail lights of some kind. It really irks me seeing Neons, Chargers, 300s, and even Minivans with this equipment. I don't understand why the Intrepid was skipped by countless manufacturers in this department. I would love to have LED brake lights, but I would take even clear lens (retaining the proper colors) tail lamps, but they simply do not exist. I can only find what was produced by the factory :( I wonder if I could get a custom job done in a local shop. It's not dire that I get it done though. I don't like tail light OR headlight tint because it hinders the output of light, so that's not even a consideration. It's too bad that the 2002 refresh didn't include clear lens tail lamps like the 300M.
The other trep in the last pic was my mom's car. She had a 2004 SXT w/ the 3.5 and Chrome wheels which made me jealous, but didn't have all the other options my car had. We got my car used in 2005 and it's been going strong since! At the beginning of the year there were many auto thefts and break-ins of Chrysler vechicles and my mom was also a victim. She didn't have the Security System/Sentry Key which was a big downer. She's scared for my car, but I'm not worried. Even though my car is a few years older, it has the Anti-Theft system that turns the car off almost immediately if hot-wired. When we got my car, my mom actually wanted to trade me for it, but my back couldn't stand not having lumbar support...and I liked my leather seats, computer center, and CD changer!
I believe Dodge made a BIG mistake when they stopped making this car, they basically killed it off for the smaller Charger. They could have co-existed in my opinion. The Concorde, LHS, AND 300M did that for years!
My parents also own a '96 Town and Country which is still running strong. My mom now drives a 2008 Sable because it's the next best thing in a slowly shrinking Large FWD segment...and because of it's extra large trunk.
