This might not be in the right spot...but i'm sure someone will move it for you. As far as the timing belts, it's actually just standard maintenance to change them from time to time. It's recommended, along with the water pump, at 100,000 miles...or the metric version of that distance. These are interference motors, so it's best to do the preventative work to keep it running. Best not to have the valves and pistons meet up when the timing belt lets loose.
