Agreed - odd combo - I think that combo was only possible for the first coupla years... I've never seen an 01+ ES w/o fogs...
Or maybe the bumper was swapped!? Headlight switch should confirm one or the other, I would think.
Well, the Title says ES for the vin number. ES in 1999 comes in my color, and tan/camel interior like I have. There is no fog light switch inside for some reason the original buyer had this ES w/o fogs
Sweet! glad to see you finally posted some pics!
Your car reminds me of my last trep...that got totaled
minus the tan interior. Way too much tan for me lol
I also thought that all 98-99 treps ..had the Agate dash. Hmmmmm
nice car, I've never seen those seats before, very odd pattern for a Intrepid. The headlights switch looks the same, only way you will know if it's a foglight one or not is by pulling on it while you have the lights in the "on" position. If it clicks and comes out a bit than it had fogs at some point.
I am kinda happy my car's factory combo is rare I feel a little better about the car now
Well now that you've shown us that there's a 3.2 in there - I would suggest that your car isn't completely stock - but that's ok! The ES with 2.7 (and hence no fogs) is a little easier to find, but still uncommon.
You should feel better it has the 3.2 instead of the 2.7 regardless - much less finicky in terms of maintenance - nowhere near as likely to grenade on ya. While there's lots of 2.7's that go lots of miles, those engines receive lots of tender loving care.
