That tube is 100W RMS. It does pump out enough bass for most people... unless of course you are a real audiophile.

Hey Randy... can you do me a favor and take a pic of the connectors behind the Bazooka (will have to put the back seat down). I am curious to see how they wired it up.

The guy that did mine... put two "open" RCA composite jacks there. Im thinking those might be line outs... in case I ever want to add an amp.. i have the sound feed right there.

OK... u have the same thing. What are those two light blue RCA composite jacks for? You seem to have black covers on the connectors.... mine dont have any covers. Is that another line out? That would be sweet if it was... makes hooking an amp up pretty simple since you wouldnt need another LOC speaker tap.

well 100rms should do the trick, if your looking at picking up those lower signals and just adding a touch more bass. hows about the Basslink? I do not know about them because there really is no box associated with it, its pretty much well just something that holds the sub. Thats reason enough to get a bazooka.

hey djpill....i think those connectors might be if you have an aftermarket headunit with preamp outs. this way they have no need to splice wires.....

at least that's what i gathered reading the bazooka forums......but i'm not too knowlegable about this stuff....so i could have got it wrong.....

Ahhhhhh probably.... oh well. Im gonna ask JoeKD tomorrow about his setup.

The Basslink is 200W RMS. One day down the road I may upgrade to that... if I do not want to go dual Bazooka. I dunno.

Right now the bass is decent enough. My inside speakers will start poping before the bazooka tube does, so it would make more sense to replace the inside speakers and maybe amp them before i add more bass.

just remember Joe's words of advice on Bazooka tubes..get rid of those damn cloth mounting straps!!!!!!

the first time I got lazy and forgot to tighten the straps my tube went for a ride, the same day I went out and bought stainless steel clamps to hold my tube down, problem solved for under $5 and less than five minutes, looks better too
