~*IceDragon38's Sig Page*~

Hi, my name is Reggie, and I own a 2001 ES Intrepid. I bought this car back in August 2005, and.....oh f*** it, you didn't come here for my story...you want some damn pictures!!

The right side. Yes, those are ES rims painted black.

The left side.

The front.......DEBADGED!

The rear.....DEBADGED!

A closer look at the 3rd bar light.....the light says NO MUNY

I bet you've never seen lights like this before in a Trep!

Now, for some interior pictures!

Alpine front speakers

Rockford Fosgate 10'' subs!!

My little 340w Dual amp. Will most likely be replaced by this summer!

And of course with all these audio upgrades I must have an AWESOME HU right?! Well, let's take a peek.....

No, your eyes do not deceive you.....this is the stock HU. Why? Well, I like the thought of having radio controls on my steering wheel, and also I go to a college where people like to steal. Having a nice HU will make it THAT much more obvious what else I have. The system actually sounds pretty decent.

And last but not least....

300m gauges!!

I would like to thank DI.net for the inspiration for most of these mods!!

Well, actually your rims along with some other members (Scarface, all the people with MS Treps) gave me the idea to paint them. The reason why I did was A) to match my personality....I'm almost always wearing black shoes. The other reason was that 2 of my ES rims lost a little tarnish. I don't know if I didn't spray enough of a cleaning product off, or what, but that's the reason behind painting them black. It's actually a very easy process, maybe I'll do a how-to if needed!

Here's a better picture of one of them. Please excuse the rotor, it will be changed in the summer .

Why excuse the rotor? Looks fine to me :p Unless there's something really wrong with it.

Well actually.....it's the caliper that looks like shit. But there are some ridges in the rotor, especially the right front (this is the left pictured) but everything is gonna be changed this summer.

Ahhh

My rotors are warped to hell and back, but no one notices :p
Are you going to go OEM or slotted/vented?

You can easily paint your caliper. I havent persnaly done it, but by changing my brakes numerous times, it really doesn't look hard at all.

Oh definitely slotted/vented. I drive in an area where there are a lot of senior citizens and I'm always constantly slamming on the brakes when yet another one of them pulls out in front of me.

Ok, nevermind...I was going to say 20 points each. LMAO :p

I've seen quite a few cracked drilled rotors. I would ask for a warranty when buying a set.
I'm not too sure about vented ones, but I've never seen any cracked :p

I used to have vented brakes in my Bronco and they worked wonderfully. In fact I wish I had taken them off the car before I got rid of it. They cost me $300+ and were only on the car for about 14 months. I'll probably go the vented way again....these brakes are fine right now, but on critical stops I worry they may be a burden.

Your rides looking pretty good. I like everyone else like your painted rims, but I'm also a fan of your brake light :-)
