Accident!!! :(

Sorry, posted this in the 1st Gen Forum by accident.

So after a car wash [and wax] yesterday, I realized that somebody had definitely sideswiped me, on two different occasions!

Rear Fender

Front Fender

Mirror

And a pic of the whole side from last night...I only noticed the mirror scrape then, because of the setting sun and not enough lighting (and the fact that I don't think I was paying very much attention)

:( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

It's gotta have happened in my school parking lot because that's the only place the Trep has gone this week; staying there till well past 7pm for extra-curricular stuff. The car always parked on my right was a WHITE Acura RSX driven by a riceboy who can't park, and these scrapes are white, so I am willing to bet it was him. No cameras, so no proof.

Sell the car? No can do. Although I do have a 2003 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro coming in as my daily driver in a month or so. Ol' Treppy's going to be autocrossed after some mild mods. I'm also considering doing a RWD conversion and putting a Hemi into it.

I think he meant what you said. No cameras, no proof, if something should happen to a certain RSX.

He wasn't talking about selling the car.
One of my cars has scratches and dents from when she was still a cruiser.
The other has a few scratches, small dent, and was recently in the body shop from getting rear-ended.
It will take a lot for one to decide to give up their Intrepid and a lot more for me to give up either of my Intrepids.

As for the HEMI conversion, I don't think there is enough room in the engine bay for one of those and the RWD transmission.
Do a search for the LHSS with the Chevy 350 smallblock in it and you will learn some stuff from the guy who did it.

I don't intend to use this car as a daily driver. I want to do something to race it, and I know I sound like a ricer here. I just really like the way the Trep drives; it's much better than my Camry, which can do 0-60 in 5.9 seconds btw.

I've currently got a 2007 Camry SE V6 which is ending its lease in June, and I'm replacing it with an Audi for my long daily commute. I just don't know how much to trust the Trep with 148,500km on it.

I would check out the guys car that you suspect and see if there was any silver paint transfered to his car. Check to see if the hight of any scrapes match your fender and mirror, then call the cops and tell them that you might have the hit and run driver. It might be worth a shot, you don't know.

You should be able to get in behind that front fender and pop that little ding out.
It didn't crease the panel so it could be an easy fix.
