Rims are finally on the 300M

I finally got my rims all done and on the car

Wheels are 17"x8", tires are 235/55/17 Pirelli P-zero Nero and the 300M center caps emblems were thanks to Torontofirecaptain, getting the center caps refinished and emblems attached was a lot of sweat/effort by me

Yes, I know I need to clean up my brakes and shoot some "real" pictures of the car still but these came out so good I needed to share them right away

Did you drive over a doggie doodle? It can't be rust on your tire, Joe.

Just bustin yer chops. It would help to have the full car shot, to get the real effect.

Nice use for the logos, excellent idea.
BTW, came across the desired cup holders if you still want one.

Mehhh, I personally think its a discrase to the Mopar to have that Motorcraft crap on there, but that emblem work does look pretty good!

Pictures will be coming soon, like I said I just had to take these since I was so excited the caps came out good. A lot more work then I expected but as usual I followed the overkill route, the mounting "stem" on the rear of each emblem was over an inch in diameter so I ended up drilling a huge hole in each center cap, drilling smaller holes in the mounting stems and they are now held in with high stregth mounting tape on the emblem itself, a 2" cotter pin on the rear of each one plus a good amount of hot glue gun applied adhesive to make it all weathertight.

I was gone all weekend and just got home a few minutes ago so daytime pics will have to be later this week

Yes, these are the OEM wheels off my 00 Mustang GT, I had three seperate buyers for them fall through pushing me to the point where I said why bother selling them at all and let them collect dust in my shed. Fast forward a few months later and they have new life.

As for all the "Mopar purists" as far I am concerned 17" aluminum wheels which dont cost me a cent and look perfect on the car are the best wheels

I am really loving the Pirellis too, taking the highway ramps about an average of 15MPH faster than I was on Goodyears and all they do is grab pavement, not even a slight squeal out of them.
