Mapping a drive for website use

OK, my webserver is totally full. I have about 5 gigs of free space on an empty partition on another computer in the same workgroup.

I mapped a drive from my webserver to the empty partition on computer #2. How can I add this directory to my wwwroot folder so it will point to the other drive? I tried putting a shortcut to the directory in my wwwroot folder, but it won't point the ISUSER to that directory.

I know it's gotta be something so simple it will slap me in the face, but I've been out of the computer stuff for months. Help?

Re: Mapping a drive for website use

Your using IIS right mate?

If so, map the drive, then go into IIS and
create a virtual directory.

Off the top of my head you right click on your
website, then go to new/virtual directory. Follow
the prompts.. you should be set then.. Make sure
your the webserver has rights on that mapped drive
to read

If you have problems just PM me..
