What video editing software do you use?

Well, I just got my firewire card installed for my miniDV camera, and want to start editing the video I've been taking and burning it to a VCD (and DVD's in the future when I get a DVD burner).

Right now I've been messing around with Adobe Premier, ulead Video Studio, and Windows Movie Maker. So far, I'm still new to this and figuring out these programs.

So tell me what you think is best for me and what you use?

Thanks

Avid is the absolute way to go. We (at ABC) have been using Avid Editing for many years, and it cannot be beat.
