MS Beta = Set a Sys Restore point!

After the mess IE 7 made on my system, I am quite weary of MS betas right now, the only one that seems to be nice to my system is Windows Defender.

IE7 Beta 1 + no system restore point = SLOW system with no free ram and BSODs = Format + Setup!

How a damn web browser can bring down a dual core Athlon 64 box with a gig of ram and a 7200RPM disk with a 16MB cache is beyond me. No wait it's not a mystery to me, it's MICROSOFT!

Thank GOD I'm not dumb enough to put IE7 on my customer's boxes. This is why I have "sacrificial computers" in the shop.

http://www.free-codecs.com/download/...Codec_Pack.htm

Forget about ever having to worry about the WMP again.

Also recommended, the jRiver Media Center, www.jriver.com.
