Scrolling pages

Ok i have a question maybe someone can answer for me as I have been searching for an answer.

Problem: I reloaded windows XP on a fresh 80gig harddrive and when i use either IE or firefox the pages seem to scroll a little at a time, instead of making it a fluid motion. I have tried the options tools area in firefox, it doesn't help i have also taken off the auto scrolling as well as the smooth scrolling yet I still get this issue regardless. Anyone else expierence this???

You mean like when you use the wheel on the mouse, when you click and drag the bar on the right side, or when you hit the top and bottom arrows on the right side?

If it is the mouse wheel that you are using for scrolling, you need to look at your mouse drivers and setup. in the mouse settings there is a section for the scroll wheel and how fast it scrolls.

If it is the scrollbar or scroll arrows on the pages themselves, consider looking into the video drivers or video refresh rate. If your refresh rate on the monitor is 60 hz, move it up to at least 70 hz.

make sure you have the latest vid drivers installed for your video card.

hope this helps.
