I saw a bunch of these the summer of 2000 while in Mexico City. They're pretty cool trucks, would have been a great entry in the US/Canada market. Just like a Durango but the size of a Tahoe.

I'd never buy a Mexican car tho....

This vehicle is a police siezure. It was manufactured for the Mexican market and is not street legal in the U.S. Again this vehicle CAN NOT be registered in the U.S. The odometer on this vehicle is listed in kilometers NOT miles. If you have any questions please ask before you bid

The odometer on this vehicle is listed in kilometers NOT miles. That would make a vehicle illegal just because of that?? :dozeoff:

No.

Mexican market Ramchargers were never sent through the DOT's regime of tests, (crash, emissions, etc) meaning they were never federalized, meaning they can not be liscenced and driven on public roads here.

You can still own one, and title it as a show/collector vehicle, but you can not drive it on a public road.

According to it also it does not have a passenger side air bag...in 01 all cars and pickups on the road were required to.

i always wondered why Dodge never had a full-size SUV. Man, that Ramcharger is SWEET!!! I love it!!!

If they were sold in the US, it would be hard to choose between that and a hemi Magnum.

I have seen the ramchargers on the roads here for quite some time, they all had Mexican plates. I have seen pictures of a ram suburban type vehicle that is sold in South America.

I was down in San Diego recently and they drive Mexican registered vehicles down there. You see lots of cars with Baja California plates. Is it o.k. only for Mexicans to drive them in the U.S.?
