Paintball Barrel question. need some advice.

OKay so I have a

Tippmann Pro Carbine. great gun I must say.

however I need a new barrel as its about the only cost effective upgrade there is for this gun.....

IN your own opinion should I get a 16inch barrel or a 20inch???

I dont know if getting the 20 would just be overkill and actually detrimental.

I play more of an accuracy game instaed of a rushing game. gun doesnt fire to fast so I usually play role of sniper.

so what do you guys think? i dont have any experienc ewith aftermarket barrells.

go on Ebay and buy an Angel. That is what I did. Never looked back!

You can get a decent one for 400

If you play the role of a sniper you want the longer barrel, it will keep the accuracy up.

Another nice mod I liked when I had my 98- Strip the weapon down, with a dremal and a light wire brush go over the casting the bolt rides on to smoothen it out then polish. It will make the mechanical noise level go down. Swap trigger springs with a ball point pen for easier trigger pull.

There are a few forums out there with plenty of mods, I cant remember the names it been a while.

you really don't need a long barrel...the important thing is getting rid of the stock barrel ASAP
