Jamie McMurray WIN!

Wow! Isn't this a story! In only his second Nascar Winston Cup race he wins the UAW-GM Quality 400 taking the Coors #40 silver bullet to victory lane! Good to see Dodge taking the checkered flag again.

Also Chad Blount wins the ARCA race, so a Dodge dual win.

And what a great guy that kid is! Watched his interview right after the race, and he was torqued! How many times did he say "Drink Coors!"??!!

Snorton:

He was wired, wasn't he? Gotta love the excitement he brings, plus this will be a big booster to his confidence, winning so soon. Goes to show you not only what kind of driver he is, but how well the #40 pit crew is no matter who's behind the wheel.

A great day !!! Also got the Penske announcement which is also great news.

Dodge does an aero disadvantage- re:Winston Cup Scene from the wind tunnel tests done in June / July. They also had 50 hp taken away (announced mid-May - in effect July). GM & Ford have had 6-8 aero changes since the summer.

I've watched him run the Craftsman Trucks and Busch, and he looked good but didn't win. He had pretty good stuff and was capable of having strong runs.

I have to admit while watching Sunday as he stayed out to get the lead, well, I figured he'd go back in the pack once they ran some laps.

Yet the kid stayed there, made his mistake and Labonte still couldn't get around him. By then I knew we had it.

He got great restarts, too, which has been somewhat of a problem for the Dodge's.
