Talking Racing getting like WWE

Once again caution comes out for the golden boy. Has anyone but me noticied these conveniant cautions?? It's getting very predictable!!! After being a NASCAR fan for 12 years last Sunday was the last day set asude time to watch a race.

I don't watch live anymore. Takes too long. I tape and watch later fast forwarding thru all the BS.

Ever notice you never miss any pit stops??? They just parade around under caution until all the commercials are over and then open the pits. I know they changed the rule this week but that only caused confusion.(Johnson was lucky to get his track position back).

Do you guys realize that NASCAR has run the SLOWEST RACE at a particular track at least three times already this season (Talledega, Dover, Pocono). And that was only the ones I was paying attention to. There could have been others. And the season's not half over.

The thing that gets me is the annonsers. I swear all you hear is Dale Jr, Dale Jr, Dale Jr. It's like shut up. Yea he's a good driver, but shut up about it. Talk about every other driver, but not who you like.

Don't get me started on the Jeff Gordon stuff either. I'll admit there are good drivers out there, but don't be biased about it.

the reason they talk about dale jr so much is because he is the current points leader. Last season every race, theyd cut to matt kenseth for a while regardless of where he was running. The year before, Tony Stewart. Thats just the way sports are. If Dick Trickle was in the points lead, youd hear all about him.

The reason they talk about Jr so much, is the Waltrip has a hard-on for him. The network(FOX) sees better ratings with lots of attention to him. The best thing would be for him to get a 300 point lead before the "playoff's" and then end up in 10TH place. I hope Jimmy Johnson takes the cup this year.

I don't like the way I see NASCAR going. This current crap with all the rule changes, errors, yellow flags and bad scoring is not good. Maybe NASCAR needs a management rules change.

i think Jr. is just a very likeable person. He races clean and (recently) conservatively, he appeals to young people because of his youthful personality, he appeals to older fans because of his striking similarities to his father, and hes an excellent business man. There's really no reason they shouldnt be talking about him as often as they do.

His father was one of the most dirty drivers in NASCAR. If you passed him he spun you out. Until Gordon showed him how talent wins races.

Very true adaptabl. When Dale SR had the one season where he didn't win and Jeff really came on the scene a lot of people starting liking him. But he was a very dirty driver and of course the first one to cry when somebody did it to him like Jeremy Mayfield at Pocono. As for his son being a good driver he's not really. He just gets a lot of breaks from NASCAR. As far as talking about the points leader half way through last year you would have thought Dale JR was the points leader they hardly talked about Matt at all.

Hell the one race earlier where Jr. stayed in the 30's position wise he got more air time than anybody. And they wonder why they're having a hard time getting sponsors. Why spend all that money if you never get any 'air' time.
