dorks around the world take note... If Kurt Busch can succeed, so can you!!!!!

Few other comments...

I love Truex Jr. in the Busch Series, but it seems like hes a bit timid in the NCS. Anyone else notice?

I also note this as perhaps the worst season in 10 years for Richard Childress Racing. I really hope they get their stuff together for next year.

the only think that could have stopped me from turnning my tv off when babyface bush crossed the fiish line, would have been to have Jimmy Spencer there to punch bush in that big baby face of his. When a reckless S.O.B. like that can win a championship, anything is possible.

I am sick about this crap.

Jeff Gordon clearly demonstrates again that he is the best driver in NASCAR history (Exc maybe David Pearson). He earns more points on the track than anyone else and Brian France's little BS concoction gives the Chumpionship to the 4th place finisher. Jimmy Johnson and even Jr. were more deserving that Kurt.

I won't call it unfair because everyone knew the rules before the season started.

It just makes me sick.

I've never seen 6" earn so much money, If he'd only hit that barrier when he lost his tire it could have changed the entire championship battle. Oh well, we'll just have to work a bit harder to sell championship merchandise. It's easier if you have a large number of fans to buy it. Unfortunately, Bush just doesn't have the support like Martin, Jr., Gordon, or Johnson.

Come on February.......

I must disagree. While the system needs a few minor changes, I think its great that the last few races of the season now have more of an emphasis than before. There is nothing worse than going into the final week already having a champion clinched. I didnt even bother to watch the final race last year when Kenseth had it in the bag. I still believe more points should be awarded for winning a race. Not just during the last 10, but from the start.

I also disagree with the Gordon being the best driver in history. His first 3 championships were won with by his crew more than anything. He had Ray Evernham at the helm and the Rainbow Wariors who were by far the best bit crew in NASCAR. He would beat teams off pit road by seconds which we all know are huge in this sport. Even today it's obvious that Hendricks motorsports are providing him with top notch machines. If it weren't so then why would so many drivers/teams use Hendricks parts (example: Joe Nemechek races with Hendricks made engines). Do i think Jeff Gordon is a scam? Not at all. He's a talented guy, but no better than the 42 other guys he lines up with week after week. NASCAR drivers have to do what they car with what they have... fortunately for Gordon and Johnson, "what they have" usually tends to be the best stuff on the track.

I have to disagree with on point from Don. R. Petty the King of Nascar. Is the all time best driver and he raced when they where Stock Cars. Not the race cars they are today. It was very fun race to watch right to the end. And little june bug Jr. Did not race with a shit. Must of been the car not the driver(yea right).

Go checkout NSCAR.com and look at driver stats. Gordon is 3rd or 4th in wins, and the other three ahead of him are retired. Same for pole's won. Same for championships won. Among active drivers, no one is even close to the kid. And "elf boy" is only 33. I believe he holds the record for youngest driver to win an championship. I believe he will also be the oldest. The guy has a killer instinct when he is driving. I think the day he wins his seventh ring, the Earnheart fans will take worse than the Petty fans. June bug fans dont frett. He'll win at least one, maybe two. BTW, Petty Enterprises has not won a chamionship since '79.

Gordon may of had top equipment from the start, but the boy can drive. Give all drivers equal equipment and Gordon will still be at the top. I don't think he will have have any problem taking more than 7 championships. He drives with great skill. #3 drove with a bumber to make up for his average skills. Petty and Gordon would of made some interesting races. Too bad they only raced together one race.
