New Allstate Ad with Kasey Kahne and a 2nd gen Intrepid

During the Race today they head a new Allstate Ad. A lady is backing up a new Durango into a parking spot. She and her girl friends see Kasey and start staring at him. She backs right into a big sign. The big sign falls over right onto a 2nd Gen Intrepid SE. Just caving in the roof big time.

LOL! I saw that commercial! I thought it should have been a Toyota Camry instead of a Trep... "Welcome to NASCAR!"

With a Camry the tree would just bounce off the roof. No damage. Then it would bounce to the Intrepid parked beside it and crush that roof. How cool.

I saw it too. I thought "now why did they have to destroy an Intrepid and wreck a Durango?"

It was not a tree, it was a sign for the race track.

Ever since Viper Aired. Intrepids are cheap for effect crews to buy, since alot of states and prov's have discloser laws about lease and rental cars, and that make's them harder to sell, thus cheap car for movie's and tv shows. but that's just my view.

Plus the deal with movie cars is that they are usally factory rejects that can't be regestered. Tho the guys that produced Viper tryed and got cought.
