You beat me to it Spook !!!

Two years in a row for the drivers championship (Bobby Hamilton won last year). Couldn't have happened to a nicer more deserving guy. Musgrave has been battling cancer for the past two years.

And Toyota couldn't buy the title. Lord knows they tried. Maybe next year since it looks like they'll be sponsoring up to 12 trucks.

Chevy got the manufacturers title this year from Dodge (which had it the past few seasons).

Not this year, but look at how they have been doing in the last part of the season. I think thier program is now on track. Just a warmup for the cup series in 07.

Well Adaptabl, they've done a Steinbrenner. They've spent a fortune trying to buy the title. They have several cup drivers running their trucks. They've also spent more than GM, Ford and Chrysler combined. They did finish strong, no doubt about that. I would expect them to do even better next year since the Big 3 are scaling back their sponsorship money in the truck series. I actually thought they would have won both the drivers and maufacturers championships with the amount of money / focus they put on the truck series this year.

I also read the other day that the team number rule wasn't because of Roush / Hendricks but because of Toyota (and what they did this year in the truck series).

I was surprised to hear that but it does make sense don't you think ?
