Dodge Avenger win

Man O man did anyone see the Sanoma 350 and how Juan Montoya took the Dodge Avenger to the finish line first?? He smoked it into so many corners outbreaking other cars. There were a few bumps he got into but I did not here anyone complain about him.
Say what you want about foreigners in Nascar but Jaun showed em and the Dodge was 1st!!

Yeah, out of the drivers to get the first win for Dodge I definitely did not expect it to come from Juan. I was expecting it from the 9, 2, or 12. Great to see Dodge finally get one on the board.

As much as I like seeing Dodge win, I really wanted to see Robby Gordon pull it off!

I agree with that! The pit sequence really screwed things up. First win from so far back too!!

Nascar fans (as a rule) do not like things different. They like the winners from the southern U.S. and the cars American made. Hell even jeff Gordon gets boo'ed cause he is from California.
Indy cars always did accept foreighn drivers. (Gram Hill) and many others followed. Toyota gets boo'ed too.
I have watched Jaun race since he entered Indy league and I agree he is fantastic. Reminds me of Dale Sr. with his driving technique.

Glad Dodge finally fot that first win. Now with a bit of luck we'll see some more. Newman and Kurt Busch have been more competitive as the season progresses (if Busch didn't get into the trouble with Stewart he'd still be in the chase)..

Watkins Glen looks promising too especially with Juan. That guy can drive. As usual the regular Nascar cars go crazy over this kind of stuff. I don't get it.

I mean the way people boo Jeff Gordon. The guy can drive. That southern stuff is all going away anyway. They need to get over it.

Newman was running up front all day. The pit stops screwed him too.

What a big surprise: Montoya is God. He won the Indy 500. Won the Champ Car title. ALMOST won the F1 title against the Ferrari and McLaren, both more powerful than his Williams BMW at the time.

Now he moves over to NASCAR. He won a Busch series race, moved to Nextel, and won his first Nextel race as a rookie. Any lack Dodge had is made up by the fact they have one of the greatest drivers in the last 30 years.

The 9 is a joke with a poor excuse for a "driver". Time to get someone with some skill and fire the kid. Glad to see him doing so poorly.
