My First kill in my vette

Today I took My vette out for a drive. I'm exactly due. Ive had this beast since my birthday (11/24) and never got the chance to enjoy it. Anyway back to the kill. Im going down I-64 toward Winchester ky and this guy in a Black M6 is pedaling me. I wave him off but he keeps at it. Finally i give in and drop her in third. The M6 didnt stand a chance. When he caught up he just flashed his lights and gave me a dumbs up.

What Vette do you have? The only possible way for you to beat an M6 that bad:

You have a C6 Z06.

You have a LS1/2/3/6 with cams and full supporting mods.

It was really a 650Ci with M6 badge and wheels.

The guy was in P400 mode, and / or can't drive.

I'm not saying I don't believe you, but it takes a lot to beat that BMW V10, especially on the highway. Even a Ferrari F430 or Gallardo have trouble keeping up with them on the top end. I've seen videos of M5s pull stock C6 Vetts pretty bad on the highway.

2003 Police Package
2006 C6 Z06 (traitor)
2014 Ram HEMI 8 spd

Is it stock? The only way you're beating an M6 in a Vette is 2 years from now. I worked in the auto industry for years, and have driven all of these vehicles. A Z06 is fast, but and M6 is crazy shit. I've experienced both.

Think I'm about 6/700 lbs lighter and I have the same amount of horses and more torque in the stock layout of the autos

ZO6, 6speed, IF you have the LS6, youll probably be running 420-435HP and around that in TQ. And being light, an M6 will have more than its hands full, Especially on a straight stretch.
After Headers and a tune, you may see around 450 or so HP.... and thats to the wheels on a Dyno.

IF you have an LS2, the numbers will be higher.

If you want to really destroy the M6, put the Lingenfelter kit on! It would be over before it even started.

Man! Those cars have to be crazy to drive. The Z06 torque curve is already crazy i bet you have to feather the accelerator on that monster.

Nice! I've got a '67 vette with edelbrock carburetor and everything else stock, but I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that it's absolutely no match for an M6. I drove one of those for the BMW breast cancer fundraiser last year and it was almost better than having sex everytime you dig into that accelerator pedal. BMW M6 = Sex on Wheels!

M6's are very nice rides. If I didnt want a two seater i might have considered one.

Yep, but on a straight away there's nothing quite like it.

I was the passenger in one that was done up with that kit and it's pretty scary when your not the one in control. Flatland areas = yes. Terrain with curves = no!
