Phuckin Roads!!

I was on my way to Utica to a party tonight. I had five passengers in the car excluding me.... (I know, I know lol).... So I was going down some 2 lane road at 12am... Speed limit was 55mph.... There was a sign that said "Road work speed limit 40mph"... So I slowed down and I was now going about 45mph... All of a sudden there was a little dip and THERE WAS NO MORE PAVEMENT!!!!! IT WAS ALL GRavel, AND MOON CRATERS!!!!!!!! THe car was violantly vibrating and dipping and diving.... After I was able to slow down, I was able to creep through the rest of this patch of road at 5-10mph WHICH WAS THE FASTEST I WAS ABLE TO GO WITHOUT HITTING SOME OF THE BUMPS KIND OF HARD... IMAGINE WHAT IT FELT LIKE AT 45MPH!!!!!!

After I got back on pavement, I pulled over and everything seemed fine... What pissed me off was all the sign said was ROADWORK.... ANd 40MPH...
It should have said "Uneven pavement", or "ROUGH ROAD" OR 15MPH!!!!!!!!

I got a bit of anger and punched a little indentation into the middle of my steering wheel...:( I dont normally do things like that but I just lost it because I didnt expect something so irresponsible by the construction co./workers..... I mean I couldve seriously damaged something (especially with 6 people total in the car!!!!!) My baby is good to me though

Yea the Intrepid is the ultimate party-mobile.Me and my brother would throw lil parties and pack about 5 extra people in the car with us!! then go to the middle of woods where it has been all cleared out by construction go on a dirt road similar to what you were experiencing; the shocks were shot and we had so many people that we had to make everyone get out and follow the car for a mile hehe. luckily it was our 1st gen 3.5 pos it wasnt taking care of by previous owners so that was our offroading limo but never punch your own car just punch someone else's ; ) hope she is fine if anything tell the cops she ran into a door hehe

Heck ya, Intrepid's were made for ghetto packing. I even have the granny shift so I am able to have 6 people (I kind of have to be close friends with the person in the middle). There was one day when my school bus never came around so I had like 8 people in my Trep lol.

Going by your avatar, you have an ES with the Granny Shift?

Only time I would call it kickass is if I was trying to illegally cross the border or something. lol

es never had column shift. He either used a pic of another car or installed an es bumper.
