Hit a boar!

I was travelling a farm to market road at 11:15 at night in rural Texas. This road is like wild kingdom. Deer, skunks, possums, foxes, owls, coyotes, cows, and boar.
Well it had been raining earlier and the road was part dry and part wet so it was constantly changing color accordingly, and it was pitch black. All of a sudden two wild boar were in the road. I swerved right from the left one, and thats when I say its partner and struck it with the right front. BOOM! (Insert EXPLETIVES here)
Go aways from the scene and pull over. I was thankful to see two intact fenders and headlights and now apparant radiator leakage. I yanked off the bumper and threw it in the backseat, after all it had one good foglight left.
Next morning found the battery had been busted and the box crushed! $50 and a bungee cord.
Used wrong color bumper from a pick and pull, $50. Painted it primer grey for a silver car, not too bad.
Ebay projector foglights $18 shipped...good deal.
Sandpaper and headlight polish $8. Hey I can see better now!
Wheel balance for fronts, $14.
Got lucky it didnt smash the bumper and set off the airbag and kill the radiator, but come to find out it did break the top radiator mounts which allowed it to fall back into the ac compressor and cut the top hose, $17. And it broke the headlight adjusting hardware but thats ok.
shes a 98 ES with 216,000 miles and going strong. Replaced the tranny a couple months ago with a used one, and I just cleaned the IAC and hope that works, they are $71 at Oreilly's.

Dang that sucks. We have javalina here. Looks like a boar, about as mean as one too. They're rodents though. Saw a cop hit one once, lucky for him he had that metal thingy on the front. It was big too.

Sounds like when I hit the deer, I seen the deer in the middle of the road, I hit the brakes, I was a distance away ( traveling at 100km/h ) the deer ran across the road, stopped, turned back and ran into the opposite side ditch and was gone, I let off the brakes ( now traveling roughly 40km/h ) and out of nowhere the deer bolts back across and smokes my drivers fender, If I had stayed on the brakes I probably would have just missed him when he bolted back across lol the deer did get up and run away so as per local wildlife act, I didn't have to report it

I still need a hood ( the deers head hit about midway up more to the drivers side, left a dent ), but I now have a black primer fender $170, it busted the drivers side mirror, but yanked the one of the parts trep $FREE, the mounting and adjustments for the drivers side headlight are toasted but the lens doesn't have a mark, and it still works, just bounces around a lot.
