Surprise, Surprise: R/T Duo Duel

So I had taken my lunch at work, and was sitting at an intersection. I was putting in a new CD. We were turning left, at this particular road there's actually two straight lines and two turning left. I'm on the far outside turning lane, which ends up going onto one of the main roads in our town: rt 14.

I hear a car pull up next to me, but I was still looking for CDs. I hear a rev, and I look up and see an Intrepid in the other turning lane. It was another thankfully very well kept one (there's some shit ass ones with about 2k worth of dents and chipped paint and shit around here). Now, I didn't think much of it, besides how great he kept the car, 'cause it had the ES (or it looked like at least) rims on, and I know there's one other inferno R/T, and two silver R/Ts where I live. But I look at the door, and I'll be damned: the 2002 R/T (no 'Dodge' badge) emblem.

It went green and we both made the turn while accelerating, my tires, being more bald than a Russian porn stars vag, squeeled, and we started dragging down 14. We edged back and forth for about 3 miles, until we stopped side-by-side. I'm not completely sure he saw the R/T on back of mine because the doors are debadged and it'd take another DI.net member to drag another spec Intrepid LOL

Well, it went green and I got off the line better than he did, and used the autostick. I'm not sure he did, though. I got ahead by about a two car lengths or so, and then he backed off. We drove for another couple of miles but he turned off and that was that. Wonder if he saw my new tail lights :icon_lol:

Yeah, it sure is rare to line up with one. It has happened to me once before and I posted the story on here. But it was only a 2.7 and it was no contest.

hm... I was next to a white ES or SE actually today at the light... it is probably a strange picture for the people behind you when a moded (if not much, but noticibly different) car is standing right next to the same one in a different color in completely stock.... we didnt race, but it is interesting
