A Successful Day at the Track

Latest track outing was somewhat successful:

Weather Conditions (at time of new PB)
Temp: 60*F
Sunny
Baro Pressure: 30.11" / 1019.8
Winds: W @ 7mph

Run:
R/T: .086
60': 2.183
330': 6.341
1/8th: 9.754
MPH: 72.12
1000': 12.677
1/4" 15.176
MPH: 89.14

Second run was a throw away due to loss of traction at the start, but we ran a 15.267 @ 90.43.

2 more weeks, 1 more trip, 1 big mod left.
We'll see!!

I'll be interested to see how it runs under some better conditions. Get a nice 40 degree run in there and hit close to 15 (and maybe even under).

I asked the guy what HP gains i would get from these turbos and here is his reply.
Answer:You can expect about a 120 hp gain @ 7psi of boost. You can get about a total 500hp out of these turbos by increasing the boost but any more than 7 psi is pushing it on the stock motor.

Well, since there has only been one really successful turbo setup on a second gen, that guy doesn't know what he's talking about. There is no way the engine can handle that much power stock, let alone the tranny. Turbo, the member who had a real turbo setup in his car blew his tranny within the first day of it being set up.
