Started at a red light, wasn't really even going to race but the guy in the late 80's Supra turbo took off quick so I followed suit. I really didn't think I would have a chance but by about 70 I was about a half car length ahead then I let off the gas. The guy was pretty cool too gave me a thumbs up and didn't even do a ricer fly by. Needless to say I was pretty impressed with the good ole Cadillac.
When my buddy and I use to take out his 05 Mustang GT, everyone always wanted to race. This one guy that we were kind of racing with (pretty much speeding up and slowing down) pulled on an off ramp and stopped and talked to him for a while. He was in a honda civic and I figured he was going to do the ricer fly by but didnt. I was very impressed with his car it was kinda riced out.
I'm just saying I was impressed with the Cad, I really didn't think even a late 80's supra turbo was something it could keep up with. Unfortunately I've been smoked by quite a few of these newer V6 Nissan's and such I've been losing confidence in the Northstar. Personally I think if we had room to run the N* to full potential it would take off on most of these newer V6 cars but I never have the chance.
