Changing the Thermostat on an 04 Intrepid (2.7) is something i hope to NEVER do again

what a PITA to change the thermostat...

I went ahead and changed the OE lower radiator hose while I was there....didn't want to be there already then have the 10 year old OEM hose spring a leak...


I think the water pump/timing chain is an easier job than the thermostat on these cars...

I replaced my thermostat while I was replacing my timing belt, and it isn't any easier doing it that way either.
