ITs just saying what i heard on the radio basically they may dump off BUICK and GMC all together like they did with OLDSMOBILE which i think should of been one of the last ones to go seeing as it was the oldest automobile manufacture in the world YES older than ford Oldsmobile was mass producing cars before ford was. GM may be trimmed down to Chevrolet, Cadillac and Pontiac. Chevrolet and Cadillac will never get changed or cut they are the companies staples so those two are safe all other divisions need to worry.

I feel the American Auto Makers need to come up with something great to compete with imports. Maybe design flying cars or something spectacular. My next car might just be an import if they don't get there bearings together. They shouldn't have to sacrifice quality fot the bottom dollar.

Well in GM's mindset they've put way too much money / attention etc. for Saturn. Sadly it's not paying off. With more models than ever sales are really off. It seems that they will sacrifice everything (Olds already) to keep that damn brand so in their mind they wouldn't have made a mistake.

I heard today that GM will add another round of cost cutting, dumping engineers and white collar workers and that the executive committee may actually take a little bit less in the executive compensation. The white collar workers are as good as gone but the execs, well let's wait and see if they actually cut their perks.
